Restore & Reconnect

~ Workshops for carers of a loved one living with or beyond a cancer diagnosis ~

It can be lonely caring for a loved one and it’s easy to start feeling like you’re alone, which is why I've focused these workshops on being a space for carers to take some important time out for their wellbeing, to pause, breathe, and reconnect with themselves in a safe, judgement-free, and compassionate space.

👉 7 Monthly workshops for carers of a loved one living with or beyond a cancer diagnosis (dates below), from June to December.

👉 FREE to attend, as part of the Lingen Davies Wellbeing Programme.

👉 Stand-alone workshops, so you can come to however many you'd like and are able to (one, all, a few - it's entirely up to you).

WHEN: 10:00am - 12:00pm

9th June

7th July

4th August

1st September

6th October

3rd November

1st December

WHERE: the Gatacre Pavilion, in Oswestry, SY11 1DR

There is free parking and the pavilion is a lovely self-contained space, with toilet and kitchen (and very efficient heating!), as well as peaceful views of the cricket ground.

WHAT: Each session will involve

a guided meditation,

a mindful activity, and

a gentle walk* in nature.

*Depending on the day and the weather, the walks will be either up to the Hill Fort or the Coppice (to be among the trees).

I'd advise bringing waterproof clothing and comfortable and appropriate footwear for walking on uneven, dirt paths. Light rain shan't stop us but, of course, if there's a downpour, we'll do something indoors instead.

***Refreshments and all materials will be provided***

If you know anyone who you think would benefit from these free workshops, please pass on the details.
